Abstract

Waterwheel performance failure caused by many factors. One of the main causes is accumulation of organic material such as food waste, detritus, aquatic plants and bacteria that stick in leaves of the pinwheel. The aim of this research to find out how much influence the dirt crust that sticks to the waterwheel wheel has on its performance. The benefits of this research are expected to provide recommendations about good maintenance for water mills. The data analysis method uses Correlation and Regression analysis using SPSS 22 software. The results of data analysis show the relationship or influence of several parameters on the performance of the pinwheel. The model of the relationship between the length of shrimp rearing (Day of Culture) and the weight of the waterwheel wheel resulting from regression analysis forms an exponential equation model Y = 4.363 X 2.718^(0,006.x). The model of the relationship between the weight of the wheel crust and the temperature of the electric motor resulting from regression analysis forms an exponential equation model Y = 29.940 X 2.718^(0,041.x). The model of the relationship between the weight of the wheel crust and the wheel rotation of the water wheel resulting from regression analysis forms a linear equation model Y = 165.103 +(-13.424)x. The model of the relationship between the rotation of the water wheel and dissolved oxygen levels in the water (Dissolved of Oxygen /DO) resulting from regression analysis forms a linear equation model Y = 3.275+0.20x.

ABSTRAK

Kegagalan kinerja kincir air disebabkan oleh banyak faktor. Salah satu penyebab utama adalah adanya akumulasi bahan organik seperti sisa pakan, detritus, tumbuhan air dan bakteri yang menempel di daun roda kincir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sampai seberapa besar pengaruh kerak kotoran yang menempel di roda kincir air terhadap kinerjanya. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi tentang maintenance yang baik terhadap kincir air. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis Korelasi dan Regresi melalui software SPSS 22. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan hubungan atau pengaruh beberapa parameter terhadap kinerja kincir air sebagai berikut. Model hubungan antara lama pemeliharaan Udang (Day of Culture) dengan berat roda (wheel) kincir air yang dihasilkan dari analisis regresi membentuk model persamaan eksponensial Y = 4,363 X 2,718^(0,006.x). Model hubungan antara berat kerak roda kincir (wheel) dan suhu motor listrik yang dihasilkan dari analisis regresi membentuk model persamaan eksponensial Y = 29,940 X 2,718^(0,041.x). Model hubungan antara berat kerak roda kincir (wheel) dan putaran roda (wheel) pada kincir air yang dihasilkan dari analisis regresi membentuk model persamaan linier Y =
165,103 +(-13,424)x. Model hubungan antara putaran roda (wheel) kincir air dengan kadar oksigen terlarut
dalam air (Dissolved of Oxygen /DO) yang dihasilkan dari analisis regresi membentuk model persamaan linier Y = 3,275+0,20x.
